Like a true miracle baby,
Dani Lynn defied the odds and took Reserve Winners Bitch at our Havanese
National! As the puppy that we never expected to live, walked proudly around the
ring playing to the cheering crowd, tears filled our eyes. As if that joy wasn't
enough, Judge Dennis McCoy selected Dani Lynn as RWB in an entry of almost 50
beautiful Havanese.

Dani Lynn is our little miracle. At the age of four
weeks, Dani was bitten by a brown recluse spider. For many weeks, she fought
for life with such courage. We are happy to report that, with the help
of Dr. David Bernander and lots of special attention, Dani Lynn is fully
recovered with the scar shrinking and hair returning. After all she has
been through, Dani amazingly loves everyone and has a constantly wagging,
happy tail. Everything about her indicates that she is an excellent
representative of the breed. Time will tell whether her coat will return
sufficiently to be shown but, regardless, Dani Lynn will be a champion in our
eyes.
